This course, proudly running since 2018, will provide you with a practical and comprehensive understanding of soft tissue therapy. You will gain the skills required to bridge the gap between your text
book understanding of soft tissue therapy and the practical application of these techniques in a real-life clinical environment. The course teaches the skills and knowledge to confidently assess and treat a wide variety of musculo-skeletal conditions and common complaints, as well as provide rehabilitation and maintenance programs in a clinical setting.

Course Details:

Nicola Wearne MOT, is the Business owner and Consultant Occupational Therapist at Max Health Therapies which she opened in 2009. After completing a Psychology degree and Masters of Occupational Therapy, Nicola spent three years in intensive mentoring from the founder of Soft Tissue Occupational Therapy, Laurie Farrow. Since then she has developed her own style and techniques, and built a busy client base because of her successful treatment strategies. Nicola has trained several Occupational Therapy Soft Tissue practitioners over the last 17 years. Some of whom she now works with in practice at Max Health.

To enrol for one of our courses simply click the 'register now' tab on our website, select the course you wish to enrol in, complete the  online form, upload your proof of enrolment in Occupational Therapy at an Australian University or a copy of your current AHPRA registration. To finalise your enrollment your chosen course must be paid in full by the specified date.

Once complete we will email you to confirm your enrollment.

This course is held at the Max Health Therapies clinic in Perth WA. Students will need to physically attend the clinic, located at 86 Valcan Rd, Orange Grove. There is ample onsite parking.

It is recommended that you complete the intro to soft tissue at Max Health Therapies prior to completing the extension course. If you have completed a soft tissue course at Max Health Therapies in the past you are eligable to take the extension course as a refresher or to extend your skills in the areas covered in this course.
